Ed Read’s famous PINGUICULA collectionPermalink

(By Ed Read)

I live in the Los Angeles area only 5 minutes by car from the beach and LAX international airport.

Ed Read posing in front of a cluster of Pinguicula moranensis var. neovolcanica in the national Park Iztlaccihuatl – Popocatepetl.

Here I enjoy a Mediterranean climate and humid air from the Pacific Ocean.

I have a humble collection that gives me great joy (See also the article of what Ed. call his “humble” collection ! - Note of the Editor -).

I am very interested in the taxonomy of Pinguicula and also collect papers and books regarding them.

I sell and trade plants at the Los Angeles Carnivorous Plant Society meetings and via mail.

I can be contacted via e-mail at: tissueculture@yahoo.com and you can also visit Ed’s world
